^^^ PART2 ^^ CLICK TO PLAY ^^^

Welcome to iss 4 of SHAMZINEV2.0. This issue is in two parts. whats the point of playing great music when its compressed and sounds like a cat screeching through one of those old tin can/ fishing wire contraptions.
So part one first, then part two. There will be an approx 2 hour wait between parts 1 and 2. If anyone even notices i will fart right here and now.
Too late =)
In this issue we talk to our first “arts”. We’ve spoken to an org (Top End Terror), an artists (Semishigure) and now, our first ever arts, Caleb Svikart.

Caleb is a local artist involved in the metal/ heavy scene. He’s worked with local bands Cains Plague (http://www.facebook.com/pages/CAINS-PLAGUE), Hate For Fate (http://www.reverbnation.com/hate4fate) and roflstomp to name a few.

Check out Calebs arts here http://www.myspace.com/402070780 or fire him an email hydraulic@windowslive.com

We also listen to a really great bootleg from one of Straight Skirts (http://www.myspace.com/straightskirt) last gigs at Happy Yess. Straight Skirt are breaking up soon. Go see them play before they are no more.
Sadface.

Celador are an aural force. You can download the debut EP here http://www.celador.com.au/ however consider your speakers warned.

Celador released the EP with Kingdom Of Decay and Burrfoot at the Happy Yess for The Big Sleep. It was epic. Kingdom of Decay also released a two song, half an hour EP on the same night. Get in touch with them to grab a copy http://www.facebook.com/kingdomofdecay

Didnt know there was frikkin sweet bands and gigs and artists in Duh-win? Well there is, you can see whos playing when at the Yess website http://www.happyyess.com/ and if your a little distortion-oriented, check out the Top End Terror website. Its got a list of up coming shows, bands, heaps of pics from the Terrorfest gigs and a pretty lively forum. http://www.topendterror.com/

Speaking of lively forums, MusicNT have a really great online community and website/ forum. Check it out http://musicnt.com.au/ theres a feature on the absolute-no-bullshit-coolest-man-on-earth Cal Williams as well as local artists promoting whatever works they have coming up.

Thats it for another issue. If i dont speak to you before then, have a christmas and new year.
